Wednesday, February 24 Wild Seafood Exchange in Seattle

Friday, February 26: Whidbey Island Grown Member PSFN Training Session
Please join us on Friday, February 26th from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at AuSable Institute, 180 Parker Road, Coupeville for our FIRST Whidbey Island Grown members and sponsors meeting. Meet with other members and learn how to make this web-based network a regular powerful tool in your marketing plans.
Learn how to use the Whidbey Island Grown brand and the PSFN to market your products. The NABC staff behind the Puget Sound Food Network will be on-hand to show you how to use the site to benefit your bottom line. You can learn how to upload photos of your farm and products, discuss and view “model” farm profiles, ask questions and make suggestions. Hands-on training will be available for anyone who needs it. Staff in attendence to help you will be: Gary Merritt, NABC Marketing Director; Tim Crosby, PSFN Network Coordinator; Ann Leason, PSFN Data Manager; Elliot Trotter, PSFN Content Manager, Lucy Norris, Regional Food Systems Developer and Maryon Attwood, NABC Project Manager. Monday, March 1: Seattle’s 5th Annual Farmer-Fisher-Chef Connection This is a unique annual gathering that brings together food producers (principally farmers, ranchers, fishers and artisans) with food buyers (chefs, retailers, processors, distributors, and institutional purchasers) for what is first and foremost a business-to-business networking event.
Lucy Norris, Regional Food System Developer of Puget Sound Food Network, will participate in a important panel discussion, and PSFN staff will be on-hand to demonstrate the PSFN online network and also provide tastings of locally produced Skagit Fresh sparkling juice.
