Client Application
Getting Started
We strongly recommend attending NABC’s classes and workshops or enrolling in Washington State University’s Cultivating Success Agricultural Entrepreneur and Business Planning Course prior to applying for individualized assistance from NABC.
How can we help? To apply for professional assistance please provide information regarding your current project or service by completing the Client Application form.
Upon receipt, our staff will review your response and determine the appropriate course of action for your business project. In most cases, we will collaborate with you in development of a work plan. A work plan, timeline and fee schedule is agreed upon prior to delivery of service.
Work Plan Development
The purpose of the work plan is to define goals and priorities, as well as the action items necessary for overall success of the project. Action items will be set for both the client and the NABC staff. A targeted outcome and timeline will be identified in the work plan as well.
It is our intent to protect the details of your project. All consultations are proprietary and confidential. If other outside personnel need to be involved with the project, we will first ask for permission and only release information as authorized.
How much does this cost? NABC’s client service fees are calculated to match individual work plans, reflecting the value of resources required to achieve deliverables. The cost of NABC services and materials may also be available through reimbursement plans that will be discussed with each client prior to accepting service. For reimbursement plans, our expectation is that payment for services and materials will be generated from profits of successful projects.
Project Completion & Tracking
NABC will continue to monitor the success of your project for a limited time as appropriate and record the results for future reporting.
In some cases, we will ask to use your project as an example or we may inquire about your interests in becoming a mentor for future clients.
