Farm businesses need access to capital whether it’s a new business start-up, a business expansion, purchasing land or new equipment, or building inventories to support a market expansion. All Beginning Farmers and Food Businesses are invited…. with a special focus on lenders and institutions offering services to U.S Veterans, limited-resource and minority farmers, and food business owners. Come and meet representatives of lending programs and financial institutions that provide loans from less than $5,000 to more than $300,000.

• Community Food Co-op’s Farm Fund
• Community Sourced Capital
• Craft3
• Farm Services Agency
• Industrial Credit Union
• North Coast Credit Union,
• Northwest Farm Credit Services
• Port of Bellingham Revolving Loan Fund
• Skagit Council of Governments Revolving Loan Fund
• USDA Rural Development Department

Technical Assistance providers will be on hand from the Economic Development Association of Skagit County, Sustainable Connections Food to Bank On program, and Western Washington University’s Small Business Development Center.

Registration is $25, includes lunch, refreshments, and beverages.
