This event is specifically designed for farmers and buyers to:
•       Build relationships and facilitate sales
•       Learn from each other about sourcing needs
•       Learn how food the Puget Sound Food Hub can help make sourcing easier for buyers… and sales easier for farmers
•       Explore preservation as a way for food businesses use local ingredients in their kitchens year-round

Preservation and Kitchen Camaraderie from 1-5pm: Chefs from F.O.R.K.S. will spend the afternoon transforming wonderful fresh produce from Puget Sound Food Hub Farms into delicious preserved foods.  The result of their efforts will be showcased during the evening meet and greet.

Drinks and Eats, Meet and Greet from 5pm – 7pm: Farmers and Chefs will gather to share food prepared by the 21 Acres culinary team while talking about ways to work together to get more local products sold to commercial kitchens.

Who should attend this event?     King County Farmers, producers, chefs, and buyers who are interested in using the Puget Sound Food Hub to buy and sell produce.

This event is cooperatively presented by F.O.R.K.S, 21 Acres, the Northwest Agriculture Business Center, and WSDA with funding from King Conservation District and a WSDA Specialty Crop Block Grant.
